Some new things added to the shop in the last week!
My Africa pendants were a big hit last year and my husband (of all people) said I should try and make one with an embroidered heart versus the felt one. I finally listened to him and wow, what a great effect! I love it!
So now you have two choices for your pendants: a felt or an embroidered heart
Next up is an embroidery that has been on my hoop for.ev.er. With all the turmoil in the basement I’ve been steadily stitching away trying to accomplish something! I finally finished it this week and boy do I love it. Hopefully I can get a pattern drafted and a .pdf ready for the shop sometime in the next few months. Until then, you can get your own hand stitched version by yours truly in the shop.
There is also the original Landscape version available in the shop too…
Lastly in the world of embroidery is this little quote I stitched up by Coco Chanel. I had seen a print with a “necklace” around it on pinterest a while ago and immediately I thought this would be a great embroidery to embellish with my jars of vintage buttons. It was so much fun to design and stitch and I really love how it turned out.
And in an ever increasing desire to find things to do with all my felt scraps…introducing felt party bags. These are a superhero version (and coming soon a Sesame Street version).
These come fully sewn with the appliques of your choice to DIY either before or during your superhero event. They come in sets of 10 or 20 and as always you can request any specific number you need also.
I think that is about it for all the new stuff. But things are rolling out around here slowly but surely as I try to get the shop filled up with all sorts of new items.
